Rent your own unique lodge on the banks of a lake and surrounded by forest! Here you can swim, fish,
pick berries, bike, hunt and discover the beautiful southern Dalecarlia. The farm is perfect for conferences in Dalecarlia or for 1-2 families, who want to be by themselves in the wild countryside. The farm is also equipped for the winter and available for rent all year round.
What our guests love most is the the silence, solitude and the wonderful stars.

Our Dalagård is located in a historic landscape, called the Åsgarn´s valley. Here, people have lived and worked for 6,000 years.

In the middle of nature
Imagine that you have full use of a newly built traditionally timbered lodge for a few days or weeks in the south of Dalecalia, right in the middle of the forest and with easy access to lakes. You have no other neighbors besides moose, deer, hares and lots of other animals. Here the air is fresh. There are plenty of outdoor activities and time to unwind and relax. You can hike, fish, hunt, pick berries, cycle and much more. Dalagård has an enclosed courtyard where the main buildings are new, but the wooden storehouse is over 200 years old. The lodge has eight double rooms and a simple guest cottage with 8 single beds.

Both private or Conference
Dalagård is built to be rented by both one or two families or as a conference center. Our concept is that you rent the entire facility for your family or your company.

Activities

There is plenty to do with Dalagård as your base. Still, many choose to just unwind and relax. You can borrow a good book, read and walk in the forests all alone around the farm. We have boats, canoes and bicycles to rent for those who wish. Under the tab “Attractions” you can read about everything nice to visit within driving distance.
